Grandma's best day is any day she spends with her twirly haired granddaughter. Mudpies & Butterflies is a warm, whimsical rhyming story about the love between a young-at-heart grandmother and her adorable, curious granddaughter. The two best friends pack their favorite snacks to bring with them as they explore the bank of the stream where they dance and sing along to the sights and sounds of nature. You will be reminded of summer days when imaginations could turn a rock and a stick into a musical instrument, dirt and water became a pie, and butterflies were magical fairies who could grant wishes. Twirly Haired Girl Books encourage children to be curious, to use their imaginations and to have a love of learning.
