I am your father confessor. Tell me all. The Italian with a cockney accent; the hairdresser trained in judo; the soft touch who's not afraid to stand up in a fight - Ugo Patriarca is a man of contrasts. In this autobiography, he recounts all the fascinating stories he lived and heard growing up in E17 after moving from Italy with his family as a young boy. He recalls the judo training to which he dedicated himself - often painful, but always rewarding. He tells of days gone by when Londoners were Londoners to the bone: from eel pie shops to trips down the dog track. And, of course, there are the stories his clients tell him - from the odd to the outlandish to the downright rude! With Ugo, you always get more than a haircut.
