In this edition of Moments That Matter, author Eichelle Thompson shares several life lessons that have shaped her ethos and kept her moving forward "in spite of." Her work, entitled Greatness in the Moment, reveals a unique perspective often overlooked in our competi-tive world-a perspective that will have you re-evaluating anything you considered a failure and leave you searching for more of it. Eichelle is a writer and artist, with a 32-year professional background in marketing. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she has enjoyed working in a wide range of industries including visual arts, communications, higher ed, and construction. She draws inspiration from her experiences as a professional and from her roles as first-born, first generation American, sister, wife, mother, and friend. In this Moments That Matter collaboration, Eichelle examines the self-doubt, fear, and social pressures we experience throughout our lives. She challenges our definition of "greatness" and asks: who is the keeper of the label?
