Michael Thomas Gilbride spent more than 30 years in the classrooms of New York City both as a teacher and as a School Psychologist. Though currently retired he continues to work part time with Autistic Children and their parents. Michael reflects on struggles in the classroom and trauma such as the attacks of September 11, 2001. Michael hold a Masters degree in English Literature and a Masters in Secondary Education and another Masters in Education and an Advanced degree in School Psychology. With his wife Providencia he had a nursery in Puerto Rico for 7 years and has his license in Psychology in Puerto Rico. Now in partial retirement, Michael seeks to reflect several crises in his life and career and how he overcame so much with the simple love of one person his wife Providencia.
