Nowadays superstar bands release an album no more frequently than once a year, or in many cases once every two or three years. But in 1969, there was simply no stopping Creedence Clearwater Revival. 1969 proved to be an epic year in the band’s too-short history. In that year alone they released three Top Ten albums, had four hit singles (charting at #2, #2, #2 and #3, respectively) with three additional charting B-sides. They even found time to record a fourth chart-topping album released the following year.
The final studio album from America's greatest rock ‘n’ roll band; first released in 1972. Highlights include a cover of “Hello Mary Lou,” as well as the Fogerty-penned rocker “Sweet Hitch-Hiker”—a Top Ten hit in the US, Australia, Canada, and across Europe. The poignant “Someday Never Comes" marked the group’s final single.
Tracklisting:
Side A
Lookin' For A Reason
Take It Like A Friend
Need Someone To Hold
Tearin' Up The Country
Someday Never Comes
Side B
What Are You Gonna Do
Sail Away
Hello Mary Lou
Door to Door
Sweet Hitch-Hiker
