''Toxic relationships are not always made up of psychopaths or people with psychological conditions or symptomalolgy. Toxic relationships can be made up of good people with bad relations.'' The story is set in Durban at the University of KwaZulu Natal during the years of 2015 to 2017, when Liyana Khumalo moves to Durban for her first year at the University of KwaZulu Natal. During her usual late night library sessions, she meets Ncumolewthu Zungu. While she is extremely taken by the sight of him and their stare lasts longer than it should , she quickly regards their meeting as a random encounter with little meaning... Little does Liyana know that, that encounter will be the beginning of a whirlwind.
