John's a returning veteran who took a bullet in the hip. When he returns to his hometown a couple of days early, he finds his supposed girlfriend making out with someone else. Angry at this betrayal, he decides to go after her baby-sister Kate as revenge. However, she is more wonderful and fun than Paige was and he finds himself falling for her. She finds out why he was going after her and shuts him out. But now he cannot get her out of his head. He tries to move on, but after a year she suddenly shows up in his life. Will she forgive him or is she just there to remind him of what he is missing for doing such a terrible thing?
