This book is the first compilation of Mitchell's poetry. It was written in a four-month period in 1997-98. All the thoughts and emotions came at such a pace, sometimes waking him in the middle of the night, forcing him to complete three or four pieces before his mind would allow him to rest and return to sleep. He has been accused by friends of being in love and love. After five years, the work is as emotionally relevant to him now as it was then, and this was the reason to publish it. He believes many people have these thoughts and emotions but lack the words to describe them. Sharing this work is his way to help others convey their fellings.
