Elena Martín is a typical, down-on-her-luck college student who just wants to scrape by long enough to see her dreams of “making it big” in the art world come to life. When stress-induced absentmindedness shuffles her into a quiet, family-owned restaurant tucked between shops in one of Chicago’s inner-city neighborhoods, Elena has no idea exactly what kind of “family” runs the place.
