The idea for this book was inspired because of a very special bird who brings joy and love to his human family. He is a living, loving, gentle bird who has bonded with his caretakers, Sarah and Tay. Lloyd Berry is a beautiful bird who in some ways is a lot like you! He is happy, friendly, and sometimes scared and angry. But most times he is just like everyone else! Making friends, helping others, and loving his family! Lloyd Berry the Bird especially likes being kind to all the other animals that he meets. Once you find out what a special bird Lloyd Berry is, you will just love him and want to hug him. He will love you back, because - as you will learn - animals have feelings, too!
