Coles Living Above a Taco Shop: Ballads of the Barrio at Village Green Shopping Centre in Vernon, BC
*Product information may vary - to confirm product availability, pricing, shipping and return information please contact Coles
Living Above a Taco Shop pays homage to a barrio which fostered the authors post-college experience. Working above a restaurant rooted in a generational pueblo of Los Angeles, it is a memoir with personal images from the neighborhood developed over years with detailed reverence and poetic observation. This community today requires protective housing measures, clean streets, and personalized health for its most vulnerable members. The book's intent is to directly support specific residents in this neighborhood and to continue ensuring long term solutions.
