Roy holds Master of Arts degrees in French and History. Born and raised on a farm at Chesley, Ontario, he has taught in Ontario, France, and Germany. He has previously published two books. Roy''s past-times include playing piano and organ, reading, research, cooking, volunteering in his local church, and visiting with his children and grandchildren.
