From the author of The Stranger and A Rookie's Daughter comes the heart of a tender story of Light in the Darkness.
Realistically portrayed, a little boy learns of his mother's terminal illness, where she teaches him the value of kindness through the analogy of her flowers.
After her death, seven-year-old Harry turns his grieving into something special, where he and his father, Jo, share a sweetly touching moment. With his loving kitten ever at his side, Harry finds comfort through his tears, knowing that his mother is watching from Heaven's window.
As a young man, Harry visits her grave, reflecting on the promise he made as a little boy, being a Light, like fragrant blossoms, sharing kindness.
Through the sensitively strong, affectionate devotion Eleanor has always shared with children, this story brings that loving heart to readers in a beautifully special way in her passionately gifted talent for others.
