What is the meaning of crisis and suffering? In these thought-provoking letters to God, crisis is reframed as an invitation to elevate the level of consciousness, and suffering is viewed as an option that is independent of physical or emotional pain. The letters are a window into the author's world as she deals with the crisis of serious illness, writing to God to express gratitude, seek strength to let go of the ego's opinions, and shift from willfulness to willingness. The letters demonstrate that progressively letting go of conscious and subconscious fear and anxiety automatically exposes the underlying love, joy, and peace that reside within. Regardless of the reader's spiritual philosophy, witnessing the author's process proves the vicissitudes of human life can be transformational, empowering the choice to live more fully in the moment.
