This collection of letters document the correspondence and donations made by various Polish monarchs, including King Boleslaus Chrobry, Queen Judith, and King Boleslaus Krzywousty, to the Tinec monastery and the Hospital of St. John the Baptist. These donations included villages, taverns, and other resources, emphasizing the importance of religious institutions in medieval Polish society. The letters also include declarations of protection for the church's properties, underlining the commitment of the nobility to support and preserve these institutions. The text reflects the intertwining of the Catholic faith, regal governance, and community welfare in Poland during this period.
