Power continues to accumulate within the World Tree, bringing the return of a destructive masked god ever closer. Well, it’s still at least a century away, but only Krai seems to take any solace in that. With the statue of Luke now lost somewhere within an impregnable treasure vault, Sitri devises a plan to avert the incoming calamity and save the lost Swordsman. It will require risking lives, cooperating with a former foe, and committing what would be an immense crime in Zebrudia. Defeating a phantom god won’t be easy, but Krai has a way of making things work out whether he means to or not. Perhaps his luck will pull him through yet again, or perhaps the cycle will continue and bring yet another civilization to ruin.
