The Memoir of Leslie follows the journey of a gay man overcoming the obstacles of discrimination compounded with a name that is traditionally perceived as gender-neutral or feminine. He shares an honest, heartfelt and inspiring story of overcoming adversity, finding success, and, most importantly, experiencing love in its various forms. Leslie navigates his journey of identity and gender expression, career and personal challenges, self-acceptance, and triumph and empowerment under the backdrop of enduring love and devotion. After overcoming years of discrimination before realizing personal and professional success, Leslie was confronted with a new challenge when he had to transition to becoming a caregiver and advocate for his husband who, after a 53 year relationship, succumbed to Alzheimer's Disease.
