From early childhood to our golden years, humans consistently face life's challenges and successes. We encounter situations where people may not always do what's right or even do right by us. We must determine how we let uncomfortable situations effect our lives and livelihood. But what happens when you encounter individuals who have wronged you, and an apology or acknowledgment of the wrong never happens? Do we let the slights keep us from moving forward and harbor resentment and hate in our hearts or do we choose to forgive and move on?
This book, a reflection of my life and experiences, will explore situations many of us have faced and how we can decide to move forward. While we can express our emotions and disappointments, we should not allow those emotions to take control over our lives or livelihood, leaving us stunted and numb. Unless we confront what happened, determine how to approach the situation and move on, we can miss out on the life that was ordained for us. We must learn to just let go.
