Forthwind always chased glory, but he never expected it to look like this. When he stumbles into a Lamia's nest, he sees a perfect chance for an easy reward. Destroying the Lamia's eggs should've made him a hero-or so he thinks. Instead, her heartbreak brings down a curse that flips his world upside down. Now, Forthwind wakes up as a female Lamia-scales, tail, and all. He's trapped in a body he barely understands, facing a single impossible way out: find a mate, lay eggs, and see them hatch. He's desperate to break the curse, but having no idea how to survive as a Lamia-or as a woman-he's in way over his head. Follow Forthwind on a strange and eye-opening journey as he discovers what it really means to walk (or slither) in someone else's scales. Will he find redemption, or just more trouble?
