A visual journey through war, heat, and consequence.
Iron & Sun presents 40 hand-drawn comic art illustrations following warriors from diverse cultures through a single summer campaign. From ronin and samurai to crusaders and gunslingers, from Aztec jaguar warriors to sci-fi soldiers—each rendered in manga, western comic, and hybrid styles.
What's inside:
First Light — Warriors prepare for the coming heat. Morning rituals. Weapons checked. Anticipation.
The March — The gruelling trek toward conflict. Dust, sweat, exhaustion. The land itself as adversary.
The Crucible — Battle under the brutal sun. Violence, chaos, survival.
After the Sun — When the heat lifts. Wounds. Reflection. The long shadows of consequence.
No dialogue. No narration. Just steel, sweat, and the weight of war rendered in ink and brush.
For readers of visual storytelling, cross-cultural mythology, and comic art that prioritizes atmosphere over action.
