My home is "Meadow Brow" farm. Her charm encompasses fields of rich soil, an orchard, pond, ice house, spring house, bank barn, and large home (built in 1841). She wears a beautiful bracelet known as "The Long Woods"- hence, the title of my poetry! In 2024, "Meadow Brow" also known as "The Fetterman Farm" will be acclaimed a "PA Century Farm"-farmed by the same family for 100 years! As mother, grandmother, teacher, farm wife, God's blessings are abundant in my life! Writing is very rewarding to me. May you be uplifted spiritually. I've written programs for banquets, and plays, created poems to thank and praise, composed stories to make reading more fun, and a place in some gift shops I have won. Mary Ellen Roberts Fetterman Inspirational Poetry From The Long Woods reflects life's experiences along "A Winding Road." God, your guide, provides safety, strength, and courage through the "Sands of Time." Your journey of faith begins with "The First Christmas" and "Miracle of Love." "My Friend" acknowledges true friendship. Passing by "A Rose" garden presents perspective on life-style choices. Appreciation for parents appears in "Lilacs for Mother" and "Father's Day Message." Love grows even stronger through "Wedding Vows." Prayers for the last round of golf and a cure for cancer are included. As "A Winding Road" ends, a new life begins! "There is a Time." May my poetry comfort you and renew your faith, hope, and love.
