International taxation is a bit of a misleading name because the author is not really talking about how Germany or China or any other country taxes a business transaction, he is not talking solely about how the United States taxes a business transaction, but the writer is talking how the United States taxes a business transaction or really any sort of a transaction that crosses borders, a transaction that is international in flavor.
