"Before praying for peace in your favor, remember to maintain an upright conscience so that tranquility does not leave you."
"There is no point in making promises without fulfillment.
Prayer within a soul in darkness is like turning on a lamp in a disordered house.
The light does not change the chaotic state of the household or remove the accumulated clutter.
Rather, it quietly reveals the work that needs to be done."
"I do not bring to You those who bleed from anguish. I present You those who strike and wound.
I do not ask You for those who suffer injustice. I beg You for those who commit crimes."
