Most of Naomi's life has been spent caring for others through illness, grief, and loss, all while quietly running from her own past. But when she meets Bill, a man worn down by tragedy and searching for peace, their unexpected friendship becomes something more. Together, they begin a quiet journey of healing, confronting old wounds, unspoken regrets, and finding the fragile courage it takes to accept your mistakes. A moving story about compassion, resilience, and the grace found in simply being present for another person. Because sometimes the greatest gift you can offer isn't saving a life, but walking beside someone to the very end.
