Excerpt from In Memoriam: Caleb Davis Bradlee, D.D., Ph.D., 1831-1897 This memorial volume is printed, by the family of Dr. Bradlee, for private distribution, to preserve the story of his life, and to suggest many precious memories of it to those who were within the sacred circle of his immediate fellowship. Dr. Bradlee kept no journal; but in various books he recorded the main facts of his life, and these have been given in chrono logical order, with illustrations from letters and other writings. The chief object of the book will be attained if it shall help those who knew him best to preserve a clear memory of a life which was a perennial fountain of helpful words and deeds. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Find more at www.forgottenbooks.com This book is a reproduction of an important historical work. Forgotten Books uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format whilst repairing imperfections present in the aged copy. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in our edition. We do, however, repair the vast majority of imperfections successfully; any imperfections that remain are intentionally left to preserve the state of such historical works.
