"I'm Not Okay and I've Never Been Better" will take you on an emotional, introspective journey through the closed-off corners of our thoughts. The 51 topics in the book create a relatable and, at times, uncomfortable conversation designed to inspire and encourage the reader to take on the darkness and feelings of loneliness. We are not alone, despite how we feel. We are all trying to survive. We need to break through the walls and façade of pretending to be okay. The stories are used to guide the demand for acceptance and realization of the importance of mental health and the internal struggle we face due to the societal demand to be "more than okay." You might laugh, you might cry, you might even cringe because it is "too close to home," but you will grow.
