This is our story. My strong, independent mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. This is about how our lives changed and how I personally changed to care for our needs. It tells of the various struggles that we faced along the way. The role of a child caring for an elderly parent will be happening more and more in the years to come. People are living longer and their chance of getting Alzheimer's disease increases the older they get. I wrote this book in hopes of helping other caregivers cope with the whole situation.
