This book was birthed during a time of many transitions in my life, both physical and spiritual. I was at a cross road and many decisions were to be made. In June 1998, it seemed that life as I knew it was collapsing all around me. Many problems were pulling me down like a pool of quicksand and there was no way out. The things that I had put so much time and effort in were diminishing very rapidly. My mind was running in all directions, wondering who would pull me out of this dilemma. At that moment my mind reflected on Scriptures that my mother had taught me during some of the hardships she had endured in life.
