Leading a group of adults is hard, but rewarding work. Just as great teachers create high-functioning classrooms, exemplary leaders create high-functioning teams. While understanding the basics of management is necessary, an effective leader does much more to build upon the most important asset of the organization: the people. Dr. Bryan Zugelder shares his experiences as a higher education administrator and how he learned everything he needed to know from managing an elementary school classroom.
