Ice-skating is a mesmerizing sight to see, but it definitely poses a challenge to those wearing skates for the first time! There are many forms of ice-skating: figure skating, ice dancing, hockey, speed skating, and more, but each of them requires an ability to move around on the ice without falling. Readers learn about what to expect when going to an ice-skating class in this book, as relatable photographs and accessible text are paired for an engaging and immersive reading experience. It may even inspire them to want to try ice-skating out for themselves!
