I Am King! is a picture book dedicated to uplifting young boys around the world. It aims to introduce confidence, values, and affirmations into Elijah's daily self-care and grooming routine. The designs within the book are carefully and intentionally crafted. The vibrant colors and recognizable details emphasize self-care, self-sufficiency, and a loving and nourishing family environment. The merits, instructions, and illustrations presented will not only introduce young men to an impactful self-care and grooming routine, but they will also amplify the advantages of achieving daily tasks and conquering fears with affirmations rooted in self-love. The goal is to create an immersive experience that empowers and uplifts young children and their families of all ages and backgrounds. In collaboration with So Organic, So Suave (SOSS(R)), I Am King! extends the SOSS(R) mission as an invaluable vessel for elevating and uplifting Black men and Black families.
