The aim of the contents of this book is to give you a foundation in fundraising. I hope you will enjoy learning about how to make your fundraising activities more professional. FUNDRAISING IS NOT BEGGING, it is helping people to help people. Inside each one of us there is this "golden thread". No matter what our appearance or behaviour might be, inside us is a voice that urges us to be better than we appear to be. Giving is one activity that brings out the best in each of us. Fundraisers have the satisfaction of helping people to bring out their best.
