Do you need help with funeral planning? When someone you love dies, you will be experiencing grief and loss, but there are also many practical aspects you need to sort out quickly. This book will guide you step-by-step through the funeral planning process so that you can focus on being with your family and loved ones at this difficult time. In this short book, funeral celebrant Jay Ryman takes you through the practical elements of a funeral. These include care of the deceased, legal forms and necessary paperwork, help with decisions on burial or cremation, funeral arrangements and tips on celebrating a life, the logistics of the ceremony and the role of a funeral director. Although this book has been written primarily with UK services in mind, it can also be a useful guide for people in other countries with western funeral practices.
