In this fun and charmingly illustrated children's picture book, a squid and an octopus are good friends. They want to go walking together, but they realize they have holes in their socks! They decide to go shopping for new ones, but how can they get to the mall? They figure out how to solve their transportation problem and finally arrive at the shopping center. It takes the two friends a few tries to find the right store, and then to count out how many pairs they need. So many legs! But at last they can put on their brand new socks and happily go for a walk together. A perfect read-aloud story for kids ages 2-7, parents, caregivers, and teachers.
