The word of the LORD came to Hosea, "Go, take wife of harlotry and children of harlotry, for the land has committed great harlotry, by departing from the LORD."
What did it all mean? Could the young prophet go against what he'd learned from the law and the prophets? Marry a strange woman contrary to Solomon's wisdom? But who? Then he met and fell in love with the fair Gomer. What did she have to do with God's message?
Hosea: God's Reconciling Love , imagines the full story of the biblical prophet Hosea, and his romance with Gomer. It shows us God's work at bringing not just Gomer, but all His children to redemption and back into his perfect love.
