Frisians were named after their home, the dutch friesland, and are one of the oldest horse breeds in europe. They have a characteristic black coloured coat, a magnificent mane and a pretty tail. Another feature of frisians is the long hair on their legs. The frisian mare by schleich® horse club has elaborate braiding on her fetlock, which makes her a unique collector's item.
