A grieving man caught in a crisis of faith travels back to Biblical times, bringing him face to face with Jesus—and his troubles.
After watching his father die from cancer, the faith Billy Thompson was raised by seems to have abandoned him. And the grief didn't end with his father's passing. Billy's childhood is wrought with the loss of loved ones, and he begins to wonder why a loving God would allow such things to happen. A decade later, Billy takes a restless turn and finds himself in trouble with a woman.
Hoping to free himself from the bondage of misery and legal troubles, Billy discovers a way to travel back in time, save his family, and end his pain. But an accident occurs and propels him two hundred times farther back in time than he expected—or desired—and he is trapped in the past, face to face with the one he blames most for his pain. While Jesus can return him, Billy is told he must first grow in faith and soften his heart.
A heart-wrenching, coming of age story, Horizons Collide reveals that prejudice is timeless, but acceptance can be as well. Billy's impossible adventure show that there is always hope, even in the worst of time.
