When Jack O'Conner heard the words he never wanted to hear, "metastatic cancer," his world came crashing down. With a daughter in college, a son in high school, and a wife to support, his options appeared limited. Normally an optimist, he would need to call on all the inner resources he could muster while looking to a higher power for answers to questions he didn't even know how to ask. Did God have a purpose in his battle for life? Could he find hope and light in this darkness of despair? He had a lot of questions, but few answers.
