Although change is often unwelcome, it is also a force that drives us forward. Like the prose and poetry in the following pages it reveals life's endless possibilities. Hill Spirits VI marks the second Northumberland Festival of the Arts. The first was in 2022. Both represent an expansion of the 2017 and 2019 Spirit of the Hills Festival of the Arts, and includes authors from five counties in Eastern Ontario: Northumberland, Durham, Peterborough, Hastings and Prince Edward. The invitation for submissions also went to visual artists. Some of their fine images are included in this volume.
