Fate introduces people at both the right and wrong times... Maren has had her life turned upside down and inside out, and she's barely holding things together, when an unlikely hero steps into her line at the local store. He's clad in leather, but with an open hand, gave her more than just the cash in his pocket. Nox is about a far from a hero as they come, but something about the girl behind the register tugged at his heart, and he does the only right thing in the moment. Afterwards, though, he goes all in, bringing his brothers along with him to rescue a girl who may not even need it. This mess could end beautifully, or in some serious time behind bars for Nox, but sometimes, it's worth risking it all.
