*Product information may vary - to confirm product availability, pricing, shipping and return information please contact Coles
The Merchant of Venice is considered one of Shakespeare’s greatest comedies. So why aren’t you laughing!
Shakespeare is a funny guy--when you can understand him; the problem is his plays were written hundreds of years ago and if you don’t understand the context, the plays can be really confusing.
If you are struggling to get through The Merchant of Venice or if you just want a bit more help, then this book is for you!
Inside you will find summaries of each scene, overview of themes and characters, and even a modern version of the play (right next to the original text, so you can read it together)!
If The Merchant of Venice sounds like a fascinating read...you just wish it were written today (and not hundreds of years ago), then read on!
