I hope to inspire my readers to put aside what they think they know for a few hours... and open their hearts and minds to the infinite possibilities that lie ahead. Let's use a tad bit more imagination in projecting humanity forward in time! In the 21st century, we are living longer but sicker. The chronic disease and obesity epidemics are at a critical, exponential stage of growth. Yet, there is unmistakable evidence that the disease epidemic of our times can be halted. Many doctors and health experts agree that 80% of diseases can be avoided by simply implementing and maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Most of us simply don't need to be sick or overweight. We never did!
The first chapter of this book is designed as a foundation for the chapters to follow. It contains alarming facts and figures that verify the urgent need for a new, prevention-focused wellness model. Together, we can build a contemporary structure for self-care. Piece by piece, we can develop a skillset that encompasses current and historical understandings of the many components needed to create a new paradigm for optimum human health. Within these pages, I share my life experiences in a deeply personal manner. I report on decades of my personal, ever-evolving research on health, age reversal, immortality, and lifestyle, as well as my views on the perfect diet. I communicate my concerns with the current medical model and review newly emerging health and medical research. We will explore interventions to relieve stress, build self-worth, and groom our psyche for the exponential changes at hand. The last four chapters are dedicated to extensive information on desirable and not-so-desirable foods, plus up-to-date nutritional science. Finally, by the end of the book, you will appreciate how so many seemingly random topics are interwoven to form a new reality, emerging from the ruins of an outdated structure.
