Roy Mcayne, a police forensics technician, has researched a new medical drug that can bring recently deceased people back to life. If successful, the odds of solving murder cases would greatly improve. Yet until he has permission to experiment on a human corpse the research has been halted. Police officer Matt Dune knows Roy very well, and was the first to be told of the new drug, aptly named Haemoglobisis.
