About the Author
Linda Leigh Michael was born in Cookeville, Tennessee, and grew up in Newport, Tennessee. Later, she moved to and married in Washington State, where she lives. Michael has three children: two daughters and a son. She has two sons-in-law and a daughter-in-law. Michael now has seven grandchildren and anticipates more to come.
Michael has owned and operated a daycare and preschool. As a parent, she spent many years coaching basketball, tee ball, and soccer. She has also assisted with many community theater productions. Michael worked for many years in education: 15 years at an alternative high school and eight years in special education. She has a master's degree in mathematics. Her hobbies include camping, traveling, crafting, and riding dirt bikes and horses.
