What has brought us to this day inevitable? A day where people have taken the gavel into their own hands and pass judgment on their brothers and sisters. A day where those divorced are considered second-class Christians not worthy of the same grace awarded to those whose vows remain unbroken. This book clearly exposes the religious views and practices concerning divorce as manmade traditions of men, contrary to the will of God. The years of judgment and subsequent condemnation of the divorced must come to an end. After these years of seeing devout Christians turned away from the church and restricted from participating in church leadership positions because of their marital status, author Gary Whitworth felt compelled to speak out. In God's Second Wife , Whitworth exposes those inaccurate traditions that have passed through the church for generations. Whitworth hopes the book sparks a revolution of systematic change in the church.
