So exactly who is our God? In Exodus 3:14, God is speaking to Moses and says: "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you." What does this mean? That statement from God probably has more meaning than we can comprehend. To you and me, one meaning should be: "HE IS WHO HE IS", not who man says He is. An Excellent 40-Day Study for Churches Sound theology made understandable Bobby Linkous is a teacher at heart. His love is to see people come into understanding of the great truths of a personal relationship with God and the daily impact that can have on one's life. He would not consider himself a theologian or even a philosopher, but rather a pragmatist when it comes to biblical truth. His desire is to see people apply God's Word to everyday life and everyday situations. Bobby received his theological training at Southwestern Theological Seminary and has served in various ministerial positions for 25 years. He has pastored in Oklahoma and Georgia and currently serves as pastor of Shadowbrook Baptist Church where he has been since 1992. Marty Williamson is not a pastor or theologian. In fact, several years ago the primary focus of his life was having a good time. Since then he has become a devoted Christian with a hunger to know and understand the Lord. After reading and studying great theologians like Tozer and Packer, Marty felt led to write a 40-day study about God's attributes hoping that others will come to know God more intimately. Mr. Williamson is now a deacon at Shadowbrook Baptist and teaches a variety of classes.
