Somewhere between her early life as a chubby little church girl in the segregated south and her long but unlikely career as a Christian Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Dr. Yvonne Moore took a convoluted path away from and then back to God. Not only did He welcome her back with open arms, but He is now using her to inspire hope in others. She believes that with God it is never too late to turn your life around not only spiritually but emotionally and physically as well. In Giving Birth to Hope she has crafted 31 devotional readings based on the good, the bad, and the ugly experiences that have made her life journey unique and that offer hope to you no matter what your current circumstances might be. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
