New disciples need to get acquainted with their Bibles. How do you make sense of a 1,000+ page book without help? Where do you start? Find the help you need here. When new Christians are given a Bible and told to start reading in John, they can be completely overwhelmed with the size of the Bible and have no idea how to find John. Getting to Know Your Bible introduces new Christians to their Bible: - What is it? It is a collection of 66 books with a single theme. - Where did we get it? The Hebrew Bible became our Old Testament, and the New Testament was added. - What is it about? Explore the storyline of the Bible and see the common theme. - What about translations? Discover the differences, strengths, and weaknesses of each.
