A heartwarming story about hope, kindness, and finding a forever friend.
George has always dreamed of having a dog of his own. He watches the neighbours walk their pets and imagines what it would be like to have a furry friend by his side. One sunny day, George's biggest wish starts to come true-with a trip to the animal shelter!
There, he meets Rosie-a small rescue dog with soft ears and a gentle spirit. As George and Rosie learn to trust each other, a beautiful friendship begins.
This tender picture book celebrates empathy, patience, and the joy of adoption, gently introducing young readers to the care and love animals need to feel at home. With cozy illustrations and simple, meaningful text, George Gets a Dog! is a perfect read-aloud for families welcoming a new pet-or dreaming of one.
