This multilingual collection offers a meticulous selection of seventy quatrains curated from the authoritative Forughi and Ghāni editions, specifically prioritizing the verses historical evidence suggests are closest to the Poet's own lifetime. The volume is the work of a multi-internationally award-winning translator fluent in five languages (including her maternal tongue), who has personally translated and annotated this specific anthology into English, French, Italian, and Spanish to ensure a broad global reach. By adhering to the rigorous philological standards established by Forughi and Ghāni, the book filters out later accretional verses to focus on the authentic philosophical essence of the original Persian texts. Each translation is accompanied by detailed annotations that provide essential context, bridging the gap between the medieval intellectual landscape and the modern reader across four major languages. This edition serves as both a scholarly resource and a poetic tribute, offering a precise look at the genuine voice of the Astronomer, Poet, Mystic, through the lens of a seasoned linguistic expert.
